Jeff Foster & Mike Donato for your years of service

The Moriches Bay Little League Family would like to extend our gratitude to two individuals who have devoted much of their time to make our organization successful:

Jeff Foster has been involved in the league for many years coaching his own children from 2001-2008.  He was a past board member throughout those years dedicating his time to make sure the children of this community had a positive experience playing the game in which he loves so much.  Jeff's children grew out of Little League and graduated from High School, but Jeff came back to join our board again as Vice President for eight years to help guide the organization with his knowledge.  Jeff was the 2017 recipient of The Edward “Eddie” Erhardt Award which is our most prestigious award given to those who have "gone above and beyond" for the Moriches Bay Little League.  His award is in recognition of his enthusiasm and dedication to the players as well as the Moriches Bay Little League Organization.  It is awarded for maintaining the integrity of the game while keeping fair play a priority.

Mike Donato has just ended his tenure with our league and he went out with a "BANG!"  He helped coach the Braves to win the 2017 Major League Championship Playoff Game!  In addition to his eight years of coaching, he served on our Board as "Player Agent" for most of those years.  Mike fielded most of the phone calls and played a great role supervising and coordinating the transfer of players from one division to another.  Mike has dedicated countless hours to help the league run its normal operations and for this very reason he was an easy choice to be awarded the 2017 President’s Award.  This honor recognizes his devotion to the Moriches Bay Little League Organization.  It is awarded for his love of the game and his commitment to the children being a parent first, a coach, and most of all a big supporter of the Moriches Bay Little League.
