Ed Morris & John Butler for your years of service

The Moriches Bay Little League Family would like to extend our gratitude to two individuals who have devoted much of their time to make our organization successful:

Ed Morris has been involved in the league for many years.  He has coached and been a board member throughout those years dedicating his time to make sure the children of this community had a positive experience playing the game in which he loves so much.  Ed continues to be a central figure in guiding the local Red Devil Youth Travel League which currently has players ranging from the ages of 8-13.  He still has a working relationship with our league and we are grateful for his expertise.  Ed was the 2018 recipient of The Edward “Eddie” Erhardt Award which is our most prestigious award given to those who have "gone above and beyond" for the Moriches Bay Little League.  His award is in recognition of his enthusiasm and dedication to the players as well as the Moriches Bay Little League Organization.  It is awarded for maintaining the integrity of the game while keeping fair play a priority.

John Butler has just ended his tenure with our league.  John has dedicated countless hours to help the league run its normal operations through the years of his involvement.  He has had various roles on the board of directors which include Secretary, Treasurer, and Director of every age group.  John was the backbone of this organization for many years and we owe him our utmost gratitude.  It will be odd to not see him near a baseball field next year, but he will always be remembered and welcome in our clubhouse!  Thank you for all you have done for our league and our community!
